Thursday, December 01, 2005 - Adobe Ranch Deer Hunt Back

I had the privilege again to visit the Adobe Ranch near Del Rio, TX as a guest of Scott Brownhill & Keith Petty, of Raw Materials Corporation, http://www.raw-materials.com/

Here's a dandy 11 pt. that Capt. Billy Love harvested on Friday afternoon.  He grosses 151 B&C, nets about 144 I believe.

You'll also notice a small fixation I had for a large G2 tined 8 pointer!

Don't forget to double click the photo's for the larger verisons.

LATE BREAKING NEWS:  Tim, Team River Pro, wins the National Striped Bass Championship held Dec. 1-3rd at Lake Cherokee in TN! Along w/the trophy - a 24' Sea Pro center console! Congrat's!!!!

Daniel w/a Lake Juliette 14 lb. striper. His 1st & obviously largest land locked striped bass. 27DEC5 Thanks Tim!

Team RiverPro Wins 2005 National Striped Bass Fishing Championship at Lake Cherokee, TN

The heck w/the trophy, lets see a picture of the new boat!

Capt. Billy w/his 1st in 6 yrs at the ranch. patience definitely paid off.

A great 8pt w/super long G2's. He's 180 yards from me, so the blur is understandable.

g2 8 pt again. wow he's posing.

G2 8pt. Watching a buck approach, ended up being another 8pt, but lots smaller.

Bye Bye

Mid Flight. He finally got the chance to jump in after the big boy left.

My attempt to create an Amsel Adams shot.

Fair 8pt w/a broken G3.

A good 8pt and a female friend feeding about 90 yards from the blind.

One of my favorite pix from the trip.

A white antlered buck. Saw on multiple occasions. Not timid.

From our truck window, a couple 1 1/2 yr olds fighting.
