This was our 1st time in the MBGF tournament. The sign-in, dinner, and Captain's meeting were all held at Orange Beach Marina Friday eve. It was nice to run into friends that night. Food was great and so was the company. We were expecting calm seas and a great fishing trip. We had plenty of fuel, ice, food for a long fishing trip. We had boat problems from the start on Friday eve on our way out. The seas were very rough. Not high but tight. We were getting tossed around a lot. We fished to the south with little luck. Lot's of scattered weeds. Caught one wahoo the whole day. Had another knock down on the outrigger, but no fish.

Glad to be back on land that eve. Skipped the next day due to rough weather. Enjoyed cold beers and seafood at Calpyso's instead.
