Report: What do you get when you put three Saltwater anglers on board $ea $ickne$$ on their 1st Middle Grounds expedition?? Well you get Gag Grouper, Red Grouper, Scamps, Bee Liners, Snapper, beautiful sunsets and a darn good time. We were originally headed to Orange Beach for a run at some Snapper and Tuna action. But we changed our plans due to the horrible weather forecasts for the weekend. Not being one to be cheated out of a fishing trip due to weather, Team $ea Sickne$$ searched the NOAA buoys and wave models for a calm spot. Low and behold, the Florida Middle Grounds was flat and scheduled to stay that way all weekend. PERFECT!!! Off to our launching point we go, Steinhatchee Florida. The Diesel Excursion didn't care which direction we went, it was just time to go. We borrowed some "Not so Secret" numbers from friends in low places and off we went on our 300 mile, 32 hour adventure. We had smooth seas and perfect temperatures. Couldn't have asked for more perfect weather. As usual, we had SnapperSlapper on board. He now has more frequent flyer miles on $ea $ickne$$ than I have with Delta. Captain Tom, a fellow forum member (more reader than writer) was a welcomed new addition to the crew. A fellow Cat owner that new how to set up $ea $ickne$$ for a smooth ride. Made for good napping in the bean bag chairs. We found most of the fish on ledges with steep elevation changes. We were very impressed with the clarity the Raymarine DSM250 bottom machine provided. Since we did not know the area, we relied heavily in the information it was providing. Catch of the day was a near 20 lb Gag landed by Captain Tom. What can you say when you have good friends, good fishing, good weather, but, "It's good to be me!" Fish on Friends, Martins

24APR4, Largest, Gag Grouper, Tom U., 18 lbs. New Record for all time best Gag!!!! Congratulations Tom, you join the HOF!!!

Tom U. scores again! A second HOF entry on his maiden voyage. How about the largest Red Grouper caught on $EA $ICKNE$$? ~ about 17.5 lbs. 24APR4

Tom and Richard with our top catches
